Black n‘ Roll form UK, raw and charming at the same time. Their debut single „Drink to the Goat“ makes their intentions clear right from the start: honest Rock, paired with harsh growls and classic Rock vocals. And that Combination works surprisingly well – and is a hell of a lot of fun.
From the very first riff, all you wanna do is bang your had an stomp along to the beat. All this while downing a beer while whorshiping Satan.
The AC/DC influence is impossible to miss, but they’re not trying to hide it. Another comparisson that came to my mind were Germany‘s Death n‘ Roll giants Deabauchery. And while there are similarities in approach, Darkwire choose they way more Rock n‘ Roll driven path.
Darkwire are bringing a fresh breeze to the well-trodden paths of Rock n‘ Roll.
A project we all should be keeping an eye on.
