Deathhammer are staying true to their roots, offering fast riffs and screams straight from the torture chamber. If you‘re into that kind of stuff, this album is just the right thing for you.
Songs like „Stygian Lust“ are a guaranteed headbanger.
This is no bullshit, just straight forward blackened death assault.
Sergeant Salsten‘s vocals take you back to the beginning of extreme metal. Raw and high pitched screams torture your ear drums.
This style is not for everyone, but who wants to fit in anyway?
In my opinion the vocals couldn‘t fit the music and esthetic any better.
Production wise you get what you would expect when taking a look at the cover art.
Raw, dirty and loud.
This is a must listen if you want to be taken back to the old days, when bands like venom redefined what extreme metal would later sound like.
